Hummus with garam masala

I made this hummus with a dash of garam masala within minutes in my Froothie Evolve.  I always get excited when I get new gadgets for my kitchen.  Froothie Evolve has actually changed the way I will be cooking.   The blender has high speed blending, the latest in technology and stylish design into one fantastic cooking machine. Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas (drained weight 240 gms)
  • 2 tbls sesame seeds
  • 2 tbls lemon juice
  • Pink Himalayan salt to taste
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp tsp garam masala (can add more if you want to)
  • 1 Kenyan green chili
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 tbls extra virgin Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients and transfer them all into the Froothie Evolve.  Save a tiny amount of sesame seeds and garam masala  for garnishing.  Use the Pulse mode for a minute and the hummus is ready.
  • Remove in serving bowls and garnish with sesame seeds and garam masala and it’s ready to eat with pitta, wraps or parathas. The choice is limitless.
