Pure Green Coffee Detox

I was sent this Pure Green Skinny Coffee 28 Day Detox Program to try and leave a review.  This coffee is made up of  unroasted Coffee Arabica,  roasted Coffee Arabica Roasted, Common Nettle (Urtica Dioica), Common Dandelion (Taraxacum Officinale), Coleus Forskohlii, Raspberry Concentrate and Natural Vanilla Flavour.

The coffee came in a well packed bag inside an attractive box.  As I opened the coffee bag, I was pleased to see that all this mixture was inside attractive individual coffee bags which made it a lot easier for me to try one a day.  I had it first thing in the morning half an hour  before my breakfast. The coffee is vegan (approved by the Vegan society) and  gluten-free.  Just steep one in hot water for three minutes, remove the bag and add milk or a natural sweetener if desired.

My usual morning routine used to be a cup of tea with a couple of biscuits before I started drinking this coffee.   I liked the smooth taste of the coffee and I found that I was not having my regular biscuits as somehow I can never enjoy biscuits with coffee.  For me it’s always been tea and biscuits.   This coffee claims to have natural appetite suppressors but I really couldn’t say that it did that to me.  But I did find that I was able to wait until it was breakfast time without feeling hungry. It helped to increase my metabolism and i seemed to have more stamina after a week  of having the coffee.  I am half way through having this coffee and  I  have  stayed  the same weight whist having this coffee with my regular vegetarian diet.  For the second half of my trial, I will be following a Slimming World  diet and doing some  exercises too –  which in my opinion are essential for losing weight.  I have reading more about the benefits of green coffee and most research claims that green coffee aids digestion and helps suppress appetite.  It’s early days for me so I plan to update this post in a fortnight’s time  and let you know if I have managed to loose some weight.

Overall it is a great tasting coffee which can be drunk with milk. I am enjoying it black as it really tastes great and has no bitter after taste.

Although I did not loose any weight, I did enjoy the coffee.

I am planning to try making green smoothies to see if they help with any weight loss.
