Strawberries and Cream with Chocolate

It’s been strawberries galore this weekend for me. This is a really naughty but nice recipe…..full of calories so probably only to be eaten as an occasional treat.

Ingredients for strawberries and cream with chocolate:

400 gms of strawberries
75 gms of cooking chocolate
2 tsps sugar
½ double cream

Method:

1. Wash and cut the strawberries.

2. Transfer the strawberries to 2-3 bowls depending on how big a portion you would like.

3. Sprinkle the sugar

4. Melt the chocolate in the microwave by cooking it for 30 seconds, stir and 30 seconds again until it melts. Add the melted chocolate to the strawberries.

5. Add the double cream to the strawberries and enjoy. You can also used whipped cream instead of double cream if you like. The strawberries and cream with chocolate can be eaten once the chocolate cools.
